Fees: 

Initial Consultation: I believe that it is essential to the success of our work together that you feel that we are a good match. The best way to determine this is to meet in person. Accordingly, I offer an initial consultation at my office at no cost.

Hourly Rates: My full fee is $170/session.  However, I strongly believe that psychotherapy is an essential part of living a full and meaningful life for everyone - regardless of your socioeconomic/cultural background.  To that end, I work on a sliding scale and am open to adjusting my fee so as to make therapy affordable if it happens that my full fee forecloses the possibility of you coming in.  This conversation usually takes place during the initial consultation. 

Methods of Payment: I accept cash or check.

Insurance Companies: I am not currently contracted with any insurance companies, however, I will gladly provide an itemized bill that you may attempt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as an Out-of-Network provider.

I choose not to contract with insurance companies because doing so is often, for a variety of reasons, not in your best interest as a therapy client. Read more about why I do not accept insurance.
